Cover the Uninsured Week
This is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation website that contains a great deal of information about the uninsured. Cover the Uninsured Week 2004 promises to be the largest mobilization effort in history around the issue of the uninsured. The Week is being planned for May 10–16, 2004 by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and a diverse group of national organizations.

Hillsborough County’s (Florida) Health Plan
The Hillsborough County Health Plan is another model that used a sales tax to provide primary care to low-income uninsured individuals that resulted in much improved health status as well as cost savings to the community because of savings in hospital and emergency room care.
